Hi, I Am Matthew Ferraiolo

Matthew Ferraiolo, also known as palphotos20 (Plants and Life 2020) or matferraiolo, is a California-based photographer specializing in entertainment press, commercial travel, and documentary visual storytelling.

Beginning his journey in 2020, he started teaching himself photography with his parents' camera to escape his reality. He loved capturing the world so much that he bought his own camera (Canon EOS R6). As Matthew took more and more photos over the years, he always loved seeing the authentic and emotional beauty in each shot. What improved his photography experience was seeing the emotional impact his photos gave to others. Photography was his guide to help him out of the darkness and the sad times he was experiencing.

Today, that documentary foundation is the root of everything he shoots—giving his work its signature peaceful, grounded perspective. That calm artistic vision translates effortlessly into high-pressure professional environments, covering fast-paced award shows, red carpet press lines, and indie narrative productions like Rootless. Photography continues to bring him peace, meaning, and a drive to live life with no regrets! Having collaborated with clients and projects including the San Diego International Film Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival, Long Beach Film Festival, Su Casa, and The Bureau, Matthew hopes his photos are as impactful to you as they are for him.
